This six week Clay Hand Building class is focused on learning new techniques and connecting previous art learning to a new medium. Children ages 7 and older and invited to collaborate together to create individual art pieces inspired by new ideas. The focus is on collaboration, connecting art inspiration to pottery, and learning new clay techniques. Students will explore creative glazing techniques. Open to students of all skill levels.

Heather Stevens is a potter that loves utilizing creative objects in her work. She loves focusing on textures and combining art skills in unique ways. Teaching Ceramics brings her great joy; she loves that it provides students of all experience levels the opportunity to make impressive pieces.
