WIT!, the Woodstock Arts Improv Troupe, plays unscripted comedy on our Main Street stage. Nothing is written down beforehand, so no two nights come out the same.
Unscripted comedy from WIT!, the Woodstock Arts Improv Troupe, on the Woodstock Arts stage.
Woodstock Arts Theatre
8534 Main Street
Woodstock, GA 30188
Two nights most months through July 2027, at 7:30 PM. Doors open 30 minutes before curtain.
$10 online, $14 at the door. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
The troupe takes the stage twice most months. Both nights are ticketed on their own, so pick the one you want.
Games and scenes made up from nothing, with an intermission in the middle and about 90 minutes of stage time. Every night of the season is ticketed on the WIT! page, the regular nights and the Bonus Reels alike.
A second night most months, where the troupe runs formats the regular show does not use, including ones built for a single evening. Tickets for these nights are sold on the WIT! page with the rest of the season.
Ninety minutes, built in front of you, gone when the lights come up.
Nobody knows what is going to happen, including the troupe. WIT! comes out with no script and builds the whole show in front of you, out of whatever the room hands them. Some of it lands and some of it falls over, and either way it will never happen again.
Education
Woodstock Arts teaches improv to kids, teens and adults, from a first class in the fundamentals to a workshop the troupe runs with instructor Joe Lemmo for adults of all neurotypes. Every class lists its own dates and its own price, and none of them asks for experience you do not have yet.
